Patient Journey
New Features and Improvements
-
You can now permanently delete patient records from your Verato Universal Identity Instance directly from the UI. This capability can be granted to all UI users and is controlled by a new user permission**.
-
Note that when a record is deleted, a deleteSourceService notification is posted. For more information, refer to the searchNotifications API documentation.
-
- Verato Universal Identity now allows individual patient records to be deactivated. Once deactivated, these records will no longer be used for future matching decisions. However, you can still search for and reactivate these records. You can perform these actions using the API endpoints deactivateSourceWs and reactivateSourceWs, or directly from the Verato Universal Identity UI**.
- Note that when a record is deactivated or reactivated, an appropriate notification (sourceDeactivated or sourceReactivated) is posted. For more information, refer to the searchNotifications API documentation.
- You can use the postIdentity API call to add or update patient records in your Verato Universal Identity Instance with death details. These details can be posted as an extended attribute, along with other patient demographics. This information will be displayed on the Verato Universal Identity UI, on both tasks and identity pages, and included in all API query responses (demographicsQuery, demographicsSearch, identityIdQuery, and nativeIdQuery).
Provider Data Management
Release Date: August 8, 2023
New Features and Improvements
- License Types have been added to the License attribute cluster. Now, when license information is sent to Verato, the type field is included allowing for additional clarity about license origin. For example, Dr. Wilson has two licenses from the state of Oregon. One license is her state medical license and the other is her DEA license. This allows doctor Wilson to have two licenses and the type field helps differentiate them. This is present both in the API and in the UI.
All samples for demo purposes utilize fake data.
Sample Demo Smart View
Sample Demo Fields and Edit History View
- False positive has been added to the high frequency data ingestion pipeline for reference data. This configurable detector further enhances Verato's ability to prevent distinct records from linking.
- Verato has added date normalization to the License Effective Date and License End Date for state license data. All dates are normalized to the YYYY/MM/DD format.
- Fields with more than one consecutive spaces will be normalized to only one space.
- Fields with spaces before the first text character will be removed to normalize the field.
- Fields with trailing spaces will have those trailing spaces removed to normalize the field.
- Provider matching has been improved by including additional override scenarios decreasing duplicates in referential data. This rule accounts for when NPI is missing and there are no additional license matches.
