Verato App for Salesforce FAQ

Does the Verato App currently support custom attribute mapping?

Yes, the current version of the Verato for Salesforce App does support custom attribute mapping. Please refer to Getting Started with Verato for Salesforce article and the Configuring the Custom Attribute Section in Data Mapping section for further details.

Does the basic information section of the Identity Summary component contain the most recent attributes?

No - the Identity summary component only contains the information the user selected when creating the record from Identity Search. Users can update fields in the basic information section to the most recent attributes by clicking "Update Fields from Verato" on the Identity Summary Component and reselecting attributes.

How does data from other sources get added? Do postIdentity requests all have to belong to the same API user?

The Verato for Salesforce App has many of the same capabilities of the Verato UI. API users can send postIdentity requests to a Verato instance and the App will query this instance to display and sync identity data.

What retention options does Verato have for audit logs?

Integration admins can choose the maximum amount of logs stored in your org for this package. The current options we have on the maximum amount of logs is 1,000, 5,000, and 10,000. Once the limit is reached, older records will be automatically removed to make room for new ones.

This does not mean that Verato only has audit logs for up to 10,000 identities; while some user actions create logs, others do not.
