What are Task Views?
When you open a Stewardship task — for example, a Potential Match task — Verato MDM Cloud™ shows you the records involved in the match. Task Views control how those records are laid out on screen, and which attributes appear.
Choosing a view mode
Each task screen offers three view modes, selected from the View toggle:
Identity View
Records are grouped by Link ID and shown side by side. A colored bubble next to each field value shows which source record — source and native ID — that value came from, so you can see where each piece of data originated without leaving the identity-level view.
Column View
Records are grouped by Link ID, and within each Link ID group, every source record appears as its own column. This gives you a full side-by-side comparison of every underlying record, not just a summarized value per identity.
Table View
Table View uses the same Link ID and source-record grouping as Column View, but turns each source record into a row instead of a column — useful when you're comparing many records and want to scroll vertically rather than scan across columns.
Customizing which attributes appear
Select Show Perspectives to open the Attributes panel. From there, search for an attribute and move it between Attributes Shown and Attributes Hidden, and drag items in Attributes Shown into the order you want them to appear in the task view.
Like Entity 360® Perspectives, this is self-serve — available directly on the task screen, with no need to contact Customer Success.
